The new Macintosh┬« G3 (Blue and White) comes without any SCSI connector. The 400Mhz Macintosh G3 has an Adaptec 2940 U2B SCSI controller, this controller can extremly reduce the datatranfer if ΓÇ£Non Ultra2 SCSIΓÇ¥ Devices are connected (performance reduction up to 87,5%). By using a Heidelberg CPS scanner with a new Macintosh G3 (Blue and White), the scanner should be connected to an Adaptec 2906 or Adaptec 2930CU. This driver allows you to supports the SAPHIR Ultra 2 with an Adaptec 2906 or Adaptec 2930CU SCSI controller in a new Macintosh G3 (Blue and White).
